For those new to metal detecting, there are also three Standard Audio modes, which offer consistent, full signals regardless of the strength of the reflection - ideal for learning and gradual skill development.

AT MAX™ Iron Audio - hear before you dig

The Iron Audio function allows you to listen to pre-filtered iron signals, making it easier to distinguish valuable targets from unwanted waste, such as caps or washers. With the right discrimination level set (e.g., Iron Discrim at 35), you gain real control over what's actually under the coil - with a distinctive "iron murmur" warning you of an unwanted target.
